Frequently Asked Question
Buying a mattress, bed frame or sofa is a decision you live with for years, so it’s fair to have questions first. Below are the ones we’re asked most often at our furniture showroom in Singapore — covering delivery, instalment plans, group buys, warranties and what to expect when you visit us at Ubi. If your question isn’t answered here, our team is happy to help directly.
How can you help?
We’re a one-stop furnishing solution provider in Singapore. Whether you need a single mattress or you’re furnishing an entire BTO flat, our team helps you compare options across mattresses, bed frames, sofas, blinds and wallpaper — in person, at direct factory pricing.
Where is your showroom located?
Our furniture showroom is at 33 Ubi Avenue 3, Vertex, #01-16, Singapore 408868 — easily reached from Ubi, Eunos, Paya Lebar and MacPherson. Everything is displayed under one roof, so you can test a mattress and check a bed frame in the same visit. Get directions.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the standard payment methods in-store and online, and offer a 0% interest instalment plan that requires no credit card. You can also shop selected items through our Shopee store.
Do you deliver across Singapore?
Yes, we deliver islandwide, with free shipping on orders over $100. Delivery timing is confirmed when you place your order, and our team can coordinate around your renovation or move-in schedule.

Yes, and we’d encourage it. Mattress comfort is personal, and no product description can tell you how a mattress will actually feel under your body weight and sleeping position.
At our Ubi showroom you can lie on pocketed spring, foam, hybrid and latex mattresses side by side and take your time over it. We recommend spending at least ten minutes on each one you’re seriously considering — support response only reveals itself once your body has fully settled. Nobody will rush you off a mattress after thirty seconds.
Firmness should match your sleeping position and body weight, not simply personal preference for “soft” or “firm”.
Side sleepers generally need more give at the hips and shoulders to keep the spine level. Back and stomach sleepers usually need firmer support so the hips don’t sink out of alignment. Heavier sleepers should size up on support, since a mattress that feels medium-firm to a lighter person will feel soft under more weight. If you deal with back pain, an orthopedic mattress with high-density support layers is worth testing. Our showroom team can check your spinal alignment while you lie down — it takes a minute and rules out most unsuitable options immediately.
We stock trusted mattress brands including Dozi, MaxCoil, Lady Americana, Four Star, Viro, Perfecta, Sleepynight and Dreamster, across a range of constructions and firmness levels.
Because we work on direct factory pricing with no middleman markup, mattresses that would sit at premium pricing through conventional retail chains often land considerably lower with us. Browse the full mattress collection online, then come and compare the shortlist in person.
A storage bed frame uses the space beneath your mattress for storage — through a hydraulic lift-up base, side drawers, or a pull-out design.
In Singapore’s compact HDB and condo bedrooms, a storage bed can genuinely replace a chest of drawers and free up floor space. It’s one of the most practical upgrades for a BTO bedroom. That said, the mechanism matters more than the look: a smooth, well-built lift or properly running drawers is what determines whether you actually use the storage daily. Browse storage bed frames, or compare against divan, platform and hidden wall bed options.
Our instalment plan lets you spread the cost of your purchase over time at 0% interest, with no credit card required.
This matters more than it sounds. Cash flow — not total budget — is often what pushes people toward a cheaper mattress or a weaker bed frame than they actually wanted. Spreading payment lets you buy the right product the first time rather than replacing it in four years. Speak to our team in-store or get in touch for the current terms.
A group buy pools orders from multiple households in the same BTO project or condo development, unlocking bundle pricing across mattresses, bed frames, sofas, wardrobes and other furnishing.
We’ve run group buys for many Singapore developments, and for new homeowners furnishing from scratch it’s usually the single biggest saving available. If your project already has one running, you can join it. If it doesn’t, we can help you start one. Visit our group buy page or contact us to check whether your development qualifies.
Yes. We supply window blinds — including Korean, combi, zebra, roller and venetian styles — as well as Korean wallpaper and customised wall murals.
Both are made to fit your windows and walls, so measurement is part of the process. Wallpaper texture in particular is impossible to judge from a screen — the subtle relief is usually the reason people choose Korean wallpaper in the first place — so we’d recommend viewing catalogues and samples at our Ubi showroom before deciding.
Warranty terms vary by brand and model, but coverage generally applies to manufacturing defects — sagging beyond a stated depth, broken springs, and faults in materials or construction.
Warranties typically do not cover comfort preference, normal softening, or damage caused by an unsuitable bed frame. Importantly, visible staining voids most mattress warranties entirely, which is why we recommend a waterproof mattress protector from the first night. Ask our team for the specific warranty terms of any model you’re considering — including the total years, how many are non-prorated, and the sag threshold — before you buy rather than after.
Usually, but it’s worth checking rather than assuming — an unsupportive frame is one of the most common causes of premature mattress sagging, and it can void your warranty.
Two things to check: slat spacing (gaps wider than the manufacturer specifies allow the mattress to dip between them) and centre support (queen and king frames need a proper centre rail reaching the floor). Also run the height calculation — bed frame height plus mattress thickness determines your total bed height, and a tall frame with a thick mattress can produce a bed you have to climb into. Bring your frame details when you visit and we’ll check the pairing. See our bed frame range if a replacement makes more sense.
HDB residents can book free bulky item removal through their Town Council — most councils allow up to three items per household per month with around three working days’ notice. Condo residents should arrange it through their MCST, which may require a service lift booking.
Never leave a mattress at the void deck, lift lobby or beside a bin without approval; this counts as illegal dumping and carries fines. Book collection for the same day as your delivery or the day after — not before, or you’ll have nowhere to sleep. Let our team know your disposal timing when you confirm your delivery slot and we’ll schedule around it.
Both. You can order through our online shop with islandwide delivery and free shipping on orders over $100.
That said, for mattresses and sofas specifically, we’d genuinely recommend visiting first. Feel and firmness don’t transfer through a product page, and these are purchases you’ll live with for a decade. Browse online to build a shortlist, then come to Ubi to test three or four options properly. Wallpaper and blinds also benefit from seeing physical samples before committing.
